The Poplar Cabin is our largest cabin accommodating up to 6 guests. It is ideal for either family vacations, a mountain getaway with friends or a romantic couples mountain cabin stay. As with the Pine Cabin, most of the wood for the Poplar Cabin’s construction came straight from our sawmill and before that from the forests and hills of our beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. From the deck of the Poplar Cabin, you’ll have an amazing view of the western sky, and sunsets are spectacular! With all the beautiful views of the mountains and river valley, we went all out with our windows in the Poplar Cabin, so the morning and evening light in the cabin is stunning, with varying shades splashing on the warm and colorful natural wood panelling. The deck on the front also gives a splendid view of Broadwing Farm’s hayfields, the pond, and the mountains beyond the French Broad River valley. Inside, the cabin is panelled with home sawn poplar wood which gives a bright but warm and cozy atmosphere. The Poplar Cabin is roomy with high ceilings and has the largest dining room and kitchen of all three of our rental cabins, to accommodate larger parties of up to 6 guests. The cabin has comfortable furniture and a TV nook in the balcony to retreat from the world. Right out the back door is a roomy patio with a grill and outdoor dining set. The natural mineral hot tub is just a few steps away, surrounded by pines with the stars overhead. As with all our cabins, the hot tub is filled with only fresh naturally warm mineral water, drawn from deep beneath the French Broad River Valley. There aren’t many rental cabins in Western North Carolina that can claim that! Broadwing Farm Cabins is located less than 1 mile from downtown Hot Springs and 45 minutes from Asheville, NC.
