About The Farm

Blackberries on Broadwing FarmEstablished in 1990, Broadwing Farm is home to three generations of the Dixon family, located one mile from downtown Hot Springs, NC on a plateau above the French Broad River.

Our main farming focus these days is on a large garden with a wide variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers along with a young orchard and small flock of chickens for eggs. In season, we happily share our harvest with our cabin guests.

During the Spring and early Summer months, we grow vegetable, flower and herb garden starts that we sell from our greenhouse.

Broadwing Farm is situated on 85 acres with the Pisgah National Forest out the back door of the Poplar, Pine and Cedar Cabins and one of the most breathtaking views of the French Broad River Valley out the front door.

We invite you to come stay at our cabins and feel welcome to look around the farm and garden. You may see us mowing a field, harvesting the beans and corn, or fishing in the pond.

We make every effort to make our guests feel at home while we live the life we have chosen here on Broadwing Farm.

We are very fortunate to have such a beautiful place to live, raise our children and grandchildren, and share with our cabin guests.
