1 Mile from Downtown Hot Springs

85 Acre Mountain Farm

If you want your mountain getaway to be tucked into the sheltering pine trees with just the stars overhead, the Cedar Cabin might be just right for your NC mountain vacation. Broadwing Farm Cabins is located less one mile from downtown Hot Springs, NC and just 45 minutes from Asheville. The Cedar Cabin is colorful both inside and out and is our most secluded cabin. With it’s queen bedroom and easy layout, there aren’t too many cabins near Asheville, in North Carolina or the Blue Ridge Mountains that can match the seclusion, comfort and the beautiful surroundings of the Cedar Cabin. The hot tub at the Cedar Cabin, as with all three of our cabin hot tubs, is filled with only fresh naturally warm mineral water.  The Cedar Cabin also has a roomy screen porch overlooking the beautiful pine forest. The screen porch is big enough and furnished comfortably so in the warmer season it can serve as an extra dining room, living room or a wonderful place to sleep, listening to nature’s night music, during your stay at the cabin.  The naturally warm mineral water in an outdoor hot tub under the stars just a few steps from the cabin’s back door completes your experience in the Cedar Cabin as a real NC mountain gem. And all our cabin guests should remember, we still do some organic farming.  If your stay is during the growing season, please check in with us to find out about our you-pick blueberries and our organic gardens. The best part of our job is meeting our guests in the garden with the Blue Ridge Mountains all around. We look forward to seeing you there! And remember, the Cedar Cabin is located conveniently less than a mile from downtown Hot Springs and just 45 minutes from Asheville NC.

  • My wife and I stayed 3 nights at The Pine Cabin on Broadwing Farm. This was our 3rd trip to Hot Springs but our first at Broadwing. This has been our favorite location so far. We love the proximity to town and how secluded the cabin is. We loved the history of the cabin and the size of it. The view is one of the best we have had. Please be aware the main bed is up the spiral staircase. The bathroom is downstairs. Late night potty breaks can be interesting. lol. The jacuzzi is ready to be replaced but after hiking all day a warm tub is good even if the jets aren’t all working or able to be turned up. We will try to stay here again in the future we liked it so much. Even with the jacuzzi not really working great. The stairs really weren’t a deal breaker but it could be for a lot of people.

  • We have been to Hot Springs a couple of times and this is the one of the best, if not the best, place to stay! Spectacular view with clean room and private natural spring water hot tub. The property is seclusive, but close to everything the town offers. Definitely recommend.

  • We spent five nights at the Pine cabin and I wish we could have stayed longer! The cabin is stocked with everything you could possibly need. (My daughter made brownies one night and we even found an electric mixer in the cabinet.) The mineral tub was incredible. This was a wonderful place to recharge and escape, highly recommend.

  • Our family stayed in the Pine. I only wish we had stayed longer...I could definitely live like that forever! The hot tub gave me back pain relief I haven't had in sooo long as a Nurse, my boy LOVED the hot tub and my partner and I rekindled many of the reasons we love eachother! Felt private, had all the amenities anyone could ask for. Right in the town, great hikes nearby, we will DEFINITELY be back! Thanks Pete! Your love and effort you have put into these places are so apparent and appreciated!

  • Oh, how we love the Cedar cabin!! We have been here at least 5 times. If you stay here in the spring, summer, or early fall when the chickens are laying, Pete & Mary will leave you fresh eggs. They have sweet dogs that will come to visit occasionally, and you are welcome to walk their grounds and enjoy their beautiful land. Several years ago, Mary told me I could go pick a tomato from their greenhouse to enjoy! Getting away with my husband and coming here every year is something I always look forward to. ❤ I cannot recommend their cabins enough!

  • A private cabin with a beautiful view not far from the charming town of Hot Springs, an hour northwest of Asheville. These three cabins, isolated from each other, each have a deck out back with a hot tub fed by the natural springs. … Read more

  • Very beautiful quite peaceful place to relax and soak in mineral water hot tub. They had plenty of flowers and even a nice pond right in front of the cedar cabin,so don't forget rod and reels. Need to stop in town 25 mile before you arrive to get groceries, very limited places to eat within 20 miles. But over all it was great!!! Owners were very polite and never bothered us . 5 stars comes easily!!!!

  • positive review  Last weekend we spent Friday-Monday in Pine cabin. Celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary. This by far has been the best couples trip that we have ever had!! The view was beautiful with the leaves changing colors. We walked around the farm some, it was beautiful and very well taken care of! We also done some fishing in the pond. The cabin was very clean and perfectly decorated and had everything you could think of to cook with! We was very impressed overall with everything this cabin had to offer! This weekend was so peaceful and quiet! We did talk to Mary and Pete over our time here shortly. They both are very sweet people and we thank you both so much for allowing us to rent your cabin! We would highly recommend staying at Broadwing Farm Cabin! We can’t wait to come back!
